Dr. Anthony Yu

Dr. Yu graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990 and went on to complete a residency and Master’s degree at Auburn University in 1995. He became a Board-Certified Veterinary Dermatologist with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 1996.
After 11 years in private practice in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Yu returned to Ontario as an Associate Professor at OVC, where he taught and mentored veterinary students in dermatology for nine years.
Since 2013, he has been in private referral practice, dedicated to helping patients with chronic ear, skin, endocrine, and allergic conditions in dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Yu also has a keen interest in video-otoscopy and LASER surgery and is committed to providing thorough, compassionate care to every patient he sees.

Dr. Liz Goodale

Dr. Goodale earned her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2016.
After five years in practice in California, Dr. Goodale returned home to Canada to join the VADER Clinic team in 2018.
Her clinical interests include immune-mediated skin diseases, canine atopic dermatitis, and equine dermatology. She is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate care and helping pets with chronic skin and ear conditions live more comfortable, healthier lives.
Dr. Laura O’Shaughnessy-Hunter

Dr. O’Shaughnessy-Hunter graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014. After three years in general practice in British Columbia and Ottawa, she completed a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, followed by a three-year dermatology residency at VADER Clinic.
She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2021 and was excited to stay on as a member of the VADER team.
Dr. O’Shaughnessy-Hunter has a particular interest in allergic, congenital, and immune-mediated skin diseases, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, thorough care for her patients.
Dr. Glenna Maur

Dr. Maur is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science degrees in June 2023.
She joined the VADER Clinic team shortly after as a Dermatology Intern and began her dermatology residency in July 2024, following her passion for becoming a board-certified veterinary dermatologist.
In her spare time, Dr. Maur enjoys curling up with a good book alongside her two cats and dog, or spending time on the golf course.

Dr. Andrea Pang

Dr. Pang completed her veterinary degree at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, in 1992. After a one-year internship at Auburn University, she practiced as a small animal veterinarian for many years.
She is currently the Practice Manager at VADER Clinic, a role that keeps her very busy behind the scenes. While you may not often see her at the clinic, she enjoys knowing so many pets are receiving excellent care.
Outside of work, Dr. Pang spends time with her family of dogs, cats, horses, her two daughters, and her husband. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, downhill skiing, painting, and playing music—mostly piano, though she is currently learning guitar.

Amanda
Head Veterinary Technician, Fear Free Elite Certified Canine Behaviourist

Amanda has been working as a veterinary technician for over 30 years and has a passion for canine behavior. She is an Elite Level Fear Free Certified Professional and is dedicated to making every patient’s visit as low-stress and comfortable as possible.
Amanda is also a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM) and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
Jennie
AHT, RVT, VTS (Dermatology)

Jennie has over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field, including nearly 25 years at the Ontario Veterinary College, where she discovered her passion for teaching dermatology students in 2000. She holds RVT certificate #4 and has been recognized with multiple distinctions throughout her career.
Jennie is currently the only RVT on the Executive Committee for the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, a Charter Member of the Academy of Dermatology Veterinary Technicians, and the only Veterinary Technician Specialist (Dermatology) in Canada.
An accomplished international speaker and author, Jennie loves what she does and is dedicated to advancing dermatologic care. She shares her life with her husband, their children, and two four-legged friends.
Tami

Tami is a passionate veterinary assistant dedicated to the health and well-being of animals, a devotion that began in her childhood on a farm. She spent 10 years at the Toronto Equine Hospital as both a veterinary assistant and their Registered Equine Massage Therapist before transitioning to surgery and dermatology in small animal practice.
At VADER Clinic, Tami serves as the equine assistant, though her favorite place will always be the horse barn. She is also a Certified Veterinary Cannabis Guide/Counsellor, offering support to veterinarians exploring alternative therapies.
Tami is active in rescue work and enjoys fostering dogs until they find their forever homes. Outside of work, she keeps busy with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a cat. Running, hiking, and yoga help keep her grounded.

Martha grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania before moving to Canada in 2007. She has been a dedicated veterinary technician for over 20 years. After successfully completing her national board exams to become a registered veterinary technician, she spent seven years in general practice before discovering her passion for emergency and referral medicine.
Martha joined the Derm Team family in May 2018 and has loved working in dermatology ever since. She shares her home with her husband, their two children, one dog, and a feisty cat.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys spending time with her family and crocheting.

Sarah joins the Derm Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician and is excited to help pets live more comfortable, healthier lives. She brings over 21 years of experience in a mixed animal practice after graduating from Ridgetown College in 1997.
Sarah shares her home with her husband, their son, and a wonderful assortment of furry, feathered, and finned family members.

Jodi’s love for animals started early in life. Growing up, her family cared for reptiles, fish, birds, cats, and dogs, sparking her interest in veterinary care. One of her first jobs after high school was at a small animal clinic, and she has welcomed many wonderful pets into her home ever since.
She has been working with small animals for over 15 years as a veterinary assistant and has experience in emergency and ICU care, as well as referral surgery. Jodi has also contributed her skills to spay/neuter clinics in northern communities.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, going to the movies, or relaxing at home with her husband and kids.

Erika is a graduate of the Animal Care, Veterinary Technician, and Wildlife Technician programs at Seneca College. She began her career in 2007 on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia and, after returning to Ontario, gained extensive experience in emergency and exotic animal medicine.
Over the years, Erika has cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and fish. She now enjoys focusing on family time with her husband and daughters.

Erika is a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician with a career spanning nearly two decades. After graduating from the University of Guelph – Ridgetown Campus in 2005, she worked in small animal general practices and referral practices in Cambridge and the Kitchener-Waterloo area before joining the VADER team in January 2024.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending quality time with her family and her beloved basset hound, Mabel.

Amy’s passion for veterinary care began with a high school co-op at Highland Road Pet Hospital, where she was later hired as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. She completed the Veterinary Assisting Program at Georgian College and the Veterinary Technology Program at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus.
During her studies, Amy advanced to practice manager at Highland Road and later joined VCA Lexington Road Animal Hospital as a client care specialist. She completed her externship at VCA Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, where she worked in Emergency, Surgery, Neurology, and Oncology, developing a special interest in anesthesia and cancer care.
After adopting a dog with chronic skin issues, Amy discovered a passion for dermatology and joined the Veterinary Allergy Dermatology and Ear Referral Clinic in 2025. She also works casually at Burlington Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital to keep her skills sharp.
Amy has a soft spot for sighthounds, is a proud “crazy cat lady,” and enjoys creating custom vetwrap art for her favorite patients.

Brenda has many years of experience in customer service and, after working in animal care for over a decade, joined the VADER family in 2018 and has never looked back.
After a day of helping clients and their pets, she enjoys relaxing with a good book, cooking, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Greta has had a passion for caring for animals since she was a child. After completing her high school co-op placement at a busy referral practice in Mississauga, she was hired on as a veterinary assistant and has continued to work as a veterinary assistant and receptionist for over 25 years.
Greta has experience in general practice, referral practice, and spent more than 15 years working in emergency care.
She shares her home with her husband, three children, and two very active Boxers.

Lindsey

Lindsey is a passionate and experienced Veterinary Assistant with a strong background in animal care and behavior. Her career has included everything from puppy training to working with police dogs, and she has extensive hands-on experience handling a wide variety of animals—including aquatic species and wildlife. She has also worked in dog daycares and shelters, confidently managing the care of large groups of animals.
Outside of her veterinary work, Lindsey is a certified rebound fitness instructor, leading high-energy classes across three different cities. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her beloved mastiff, Leo, and her curious Bengal cat, Mowgli.

Emily’s passion for animal care began in childhood, growing up in a small farm town surrounded by animals. After moving out on her own, she began rescuing and caring for multiple skinny pigs—and adopted her beloved dog Ripple, a five-week-old foster fail who quickly became family.
Inspired by Ripple and a desire to learn more about animal care, Emily began working in the pet industry as a dog walker and daycare assistant. She soon transitioned to shelter work, where she served as an animal care attendant and adoption agent. It was there that Emily discovered her growing interest in veterinary medicine and her desire to expand her medical knowledge.
She moved into general practice to pursue that goal and, during this time, Ripple developed allergies—leading Emily to explore the world of dermatology and discover VADER Clinic. Today, she is proud to support clients and pets navigating similar journeys and is excited to be part of the VADER team.
